Summary: Vince and Greg getting ready before they go out.
Vince walked into the bedroom and saw Greg standing there, looking at himself in the mirror. He turned his head slightly to try to figure out what exactly Greg was doing.
Greg didn't notice anyone come into the room and lifted his shirt slightly. He sighed at what he was looking at. "Damn, I really need to work on here more," he said to himself. He didn't realize that he had said it out loud until he felt Vince arms go around his waist.
"You look perfect," he whispered softly in Greg's ear. "Really. Don't listen to the media about what people prefer their men to look like. I've always thought you looked perfect and it doesn't matter what other people have to say about it." Vince smiled as he trailed his hand over Greg's stomach and up to his chest. Greg got a small chill when he did this. He always loved to be touched like that.
Greg's eyes closed and a smile spread across his face. "You are only saying that because we've been together for a while." He leaned back against Vince. "But I'm not going to stop you. It's a very wonderful thing to say."
Vince laughed softly and kissed his cheek. "Get dressed so we can go out to dinner. It's already bad that I have to wait ages until you are even close to ready to go out." He winked as he pulled on his button down shirt.
Greg just rolled his eyes as he pulled his shirt off. "I'm going to get a shower before we go anywhere. I've been working too much today and didn't get a chance to do it earlier. What time was the reservation again?" Greg asked as he went into his closet. Vince was just standing there when he came back out. "Vince," he said softly to get the other man's attention.
"Oh, sorry. I have no idea what you said when you walked into the closet. Your voice just cut off." Vince bit his lip and shrugged slightly.
"I asked you when dinner was. I want to make sure I don't take too long to get ready," Greg said softly as he walked over to Vince. He wrapped his arms around his partner and gave him a small kiss. "I love you," he whispered softly before hugging him again.
Vince blushed slightly when he repeated the question. "Nine because I knew we were going to take a little bit of time. And I love you too," he whispered as he returned the kiss. "Go get your shower or we will never get out of here."
Greg laughed softly and gave Vince a flirty smile before disappearing into the bathroom. Vince just sighed softly before he lay back on the bed. He felt like the luckiest man in the world because he was dating his best friend from his childhood. Vince had always hoped that Greg would be gay, but never had the nerve to ask about it in school. About a year after school ended they started to date to see if that was a good idea for them. That was two years before this day.
